    What families ask first.

    Do I need a referral from a doctor?
    No. Families can book directly with Speech Haven. Some insurance plans may require a physician referral for reimbursement.
    How long are sessions?
    Sessions may be 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on age, attention, and goals.
    Are services covered by insurance?
    Most private extended health plans cover Speech-Language Pathology services. We provide receipts for reimbursement.
    Can I use Ontario Autism Program (OAP) funding?
    Yes. Families can use OAP funding for eligible services. We provide detailed invoices that meet OAP reimbursement requirements.
    Does virtual speech therapy work?
    Yes. Research shows online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for many goals.
