7. Record Retention (How Long We Store Client Files)

✔ CASLPO Standard:
Clinical records must be retained for 10 years after the date of the last client interaction.

✔ If the client was a child (under 18):
Records must be stored for 10 years after the day the client turns 18 (i.e., potentially up to age 28).

Once the legally required retention period has passed, all records are securely destroyed.

8. Storage & Security

We take appropriate steps to safeguard your information, including:
